  • The rapporteur for the LIBE Committe is Jan Philipp Albrecht (Verts/ALE, DE), the shadow rapporteurs are Axel Voss (EPP, DE), Dimitrios Droutsas (S&D, GR), Alexander Alvaro (ALDE, DE), Timothy Kirkhope (ECR, UK), and Cornelia Ernst (GUE/NGL, DE). Key persons are Germans, in order to shield the discourse from US lobbying a preference for German language makes sense.
